Dear Poomsae Leaders,

We are looking forward to Part 3 of the US Poomsae Champions Seminar Series being held on Saturday, May 14th at the Korea Taekwondo Academy in Indianapolis, IN.

A seminar application can be downloaded here. You may print out and mail your application and fee or bring it with you to the seminar. Pre-registration will not be required for the final seminar. We will accept registrations at the door for no additional fee

This final seminar in our three part series will cover the highest competition poomsae - Sipjin, Jitae, Chonkwon, and Hansu. Many instructors and seniors have been anxiously awaiting the opportunity to cover these poomsae as they are the least familiar to most practitioners.

Due to the level of these poomsae and in order to stay consistent with the competition standards, participants of Part 3 must be at least a first dan black belt and 19 years old. Additionally, they must have the recommendation of their instructor to attend this seminar.

It is important to note that a major portion of this seminar will be introducing and practicing the poomsae listed above. There will be less time reviewing previous poomsae and covering scoring and judging criteria than in the last two seminars. This is due to the fact that for most participants, it will be their first exposure to the poomsae covered and more time will be needed to focus on learning the poomsae.

We strongly encourage any coach, instructor, master, or team leader to take advantage of this seminar in order to bring the world standard to your poomsae athletes. Also, for those who may be promoting in Kukkiwon rank and need to perform these higher poomsae, this seminar will be of great benefit to you!
